Working at the bank? What?
Do you have a friend who works at a bank? Do you ever think that working at a bank is a fun and easy thing? I believe almost everyone thinks so. Most people who work at banks have really nice clothes and are well-groomed, aren’t they? If you had a chance to work at a bank, would you grab this opportunity? Of course, it would be very exciting if you dared to take on a new challenge by experiencing new things in life.
In this article, I would like to share my perspective about working at a bank. In my earliest year at university, I never thought that someday I would work at a bank. My major is communication science, and I can say that I am bad at mathematics, everything was far from the banking world. At the end of my university, I grabbed the chance to do an internship at a bank. It was my first time and could have been a better experience, haha. At that time, before I finished my internship, I had to resign because I needed to focus on my thesis. Very sad, but it was the right decision because after that I was able to finish my degree in the same year. Sometimes we have to sacrifice something to achieve our goals, and I still believe that now.
After I finished my bachelor’s degree, I started working full-time. I love being a productive person and making my own money. So far, I have been working in the finance industry for about 1.5 years. In my experience, working at a bank is very fun. We can learn about financial management too, which is very important for us, honestly. Not a lot of people are aware of this. If you learn about financial management at a young age, 100% you can manage things well between your primary and secondary needs. As a young generation, I find that most of my friends are not good at financial management because they have never been involved in this field. Some of them are very consumptive of goods. It’s okay if you have a lot of money from your hard work, but it will be wiser if you can save or invest it. If you have loans from the bank, my advice is to take this seriously and manage it well. It may affect and link to your financial profile.
In some important positions, you may get rejected because you have a bad financial profile. I have worked with many people before, and it cannot be denied that most of us are very dependent on banks. But trust me, the bank also sees you as their potential market. So please be careful and find enough information related to your financial needs. If you are a young person pursuing a professional career, I advise you to work at a bank. Your hard work will be in line with your financial benefits. In my experience, my income at the bank is better than at my previous companies. Of course, I can have more savings. But working at a bank is very stressful and requires precision skills. You cannot make mistakes because once you make a silly mistake, it can affect both your and the bank’s credibility. So, here is my perspective.

First of all i would congratulate for finishing your internship in banking sector. For myself working in bank past 3and half years i can say working in bank is something i always looked for as i resign from my previous job from communication engineer and joined bank in July 2019. Though work in bank stressful not many can handle stress like that as resolution for problem have to be provided in short time as money is involved from customers. You are right you have to be precise but at same time you have to be careful in doing any work whether it is for customer or for the government. For example for being precise a customer got credited 9.1 million instead of 91000 as just 2 zeroes got added in his account but quick review made all things sorted out but the stress which employee has got is some which can't be explained but this doesn't mean banking sector is bad sector to work into as sometimes it also gives you immense pleasure when you help a customer by going out of your way even though the it's simple problem for you but for customer it will be a big problem and once solved the happiness you can see on the face of customer will make you feel proud that will make you think, you were the reason behind his/ her happiness. It do teach you how to manage your finance properly as you will be exposed to various savings schemes where you can invest. Though there are many more stories to tell you but it will take me a lot of time to type it over here . But if we get the chance to text or speak or whether you have anything to discuss from bank whether it's question or your experience I will be more happy to hear that.
