How are you doing? I hope you are doing great, for sure. The holiday is a fun time, and we are always waiting for it. When you have such stressful work, a holiday might help you either stretch out or just chill a little bit, hehe. Nonetheless, when the day comes, we might get confused about finding the best destination for our holiday. I believe you might feel the same. Well, in this article, let’s talk about holidays, which do you prefer: spending a holiday in natural places or in big cities?
What you need to do before going on holiday is decide where you will go. You may plan to visit quiet places such as mountains, lakes, parks, etc., or you may decide to go to big cities with a fast-paced life. Each type of holiday is fun and very exciting, isn’t it?
There are many good reasons to go to a quiet place in nature for a holiday. First of all, having a holiday in a natural place may allow you to relax, chill a little bit, hehe, and slow down the pace of your life for a while, rather than rushing from place to place as you might be used to. You can spend your time doing nothing more than enjoying the natural views and the beauty of the landscape. Then, after being thoroughly relaxed, you can take part in outdoor activities such as hiking or swimming. All of this will leave you completely relaxed and free from stressful life by the end of your holiday.
Spending a holiday in natural places can be nice, but it can also be quite an adventure to go to big cities with a fast-paced life. The main reason is that you can participate in many activities such as exploring unique or historical places, tasting local foods, and more. Some of these may even be available in your hometown. In a big city holiday, numerous cultural events such as theatrical performances, concerts, and art exhibitions are always available. You will also have access to some of the world’s finest restaurants and shopping stores. After your holiday has ended, you will have made a ton of memories and gained a whole range of new experiences that aren’t part of your daily life.
For me, the type of vacation I decide to take depends on my life prior, such as budget and time. I work in the financial industry, and this job is often repetitive and dull but sometimes quite frantic. After a slow and boring period of work, all I want is to head to the fast-paced life of a big city. Whereas, if I have a fast and hectic period of work, I would prefer to spend a quiet holiday in natural places where I can relax and just enjoy life. Thus, I enjoy different types of holidays, the type depends on my life prior. Nonetheless, if you have more time for the holiday, you might be able to go to either a natural place or a big city. So, here’s my perspective.
