Hey everyone, what’s up?

Is education just about getting rich? The truth behind degrees and wealth

How’s your life going? I hope you’re having a great life. Whether you are still studying or working, I’m cheering for you! In this article, I would like to discuss an interesting topic: “Is the primary reason to get an education to succeed financially?” Let’s break down this topic, you might agree or disagree with me, and that’s totally fine. Your perspective matters here. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comment section.

Throwback to when I was a university student. I studied at university for several reasons. Of course, one of my reasons was to succeed financially, the more money I can make, the better for me. However, financial success was not my most important reason. Instead, I went to university for a much broader reason than that. I truly believe that a university education gives me many insights and a better life, not just in a financial way.

One way that a university education makes life more enjoyable is by giving us the opportunity to have a career that we truly desire and appreciate. Having a career you like is much better than having a job that just pays the bills. In my experience, I studied to be “a person who can leave marks in the world.” I want to have a better career and be rewarded not only financially but also professionally.

Another way a university education can enrich your life is by providing broader knowledge, understanding, and appreciation of the world around you than you had before. It gives you an understanding of the history of your own culture and how history influences the present. It also offers insight into other cultures, showing you that they are neither exactly the same nor completely different from your own. Finally, it gives you an understanding of the universe around you and how it functions.

Thus, in pursuing a university education, I can say that financial success is certainly one goal I have. However, it is not the most important goal, as I have other priorities. My primary goal in getting a university education is to achieve a fuller life, one with financial security but, more importantly, one that is rewarding both in terms of professional opportunities and in terms of awareness and understanding of life around me. The closer I get to achieving this goal, the happier I will be. So, here’s my perspective.

Warm regards :b
